    Hello,

My name is David Stringham (MPH, MSW), and I am a private coach and counselor who specializes in one-on-one mindfulness meditation training and retreats. Although I’m located in New Hampshire, I travel around the U.S. to take my practice wherever my clients are most comfortable, including to my close neighbor Maine.

I think that my service might be a good fit for a listing on this page since I would be happy to come to clients in Maine. My site is http://stillwater-counseling.com/, and you can read about my mindfulness meditation services at this url:

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best Regards,

    David

    Hi,
We run a residential meditation center called the Dzogchen Meditation Center in West Bath, Maine. We offer 6 hours of group meditation at the center Tuesday through Sunday each week; 10 day retreats and residential opportunities.
We belong the the Kagyu and Nyingma Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and are students of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. We host retreats through out the year with visiting teachers from Nepal.

Guided Buddhist Meditation Class every Thursday at Spiral Tree Yoga Studio in Portland.
7:10-8:00 pm – Free (donations welcome)

I’ve been practicing Buddhist meditation for over 13 years in the Theravada (vipassana), Zen, and Tibetan traditions of Buddhism. I’m a former board member of the Insight Meditation Society and a current disciple of Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. The class is a synthesis of the techniques of these traditions in order to develop greater peace, love, and wisdom in our modern lives.
