Gulf of Maine Research Institue


Join the Gulf of Maine Research Institute for their Seafood Celebration featuring local chefs, live music, and local seafood! Sample delectable seafood dishes by their Culinary Partners while enjoying spring views of Casco Bay and mingling with local fishermen and marine scientists. Guests may also pop into the Cohen Center for Interactive Learning to view GMRI’s new Voices of the Gulf of Maine video series.

Your ticket purchase includes two drinks (beer, wine, or soda), desserts, and a variety of samples showcasing Gulf of Maine seafood prepared by Eventide Oyster, Fore Street, 555, EVO, Inn by the Sea, Black Point Inn, and Churchill Events.

Prepare for amazing tastes of this and more:
-Marinated redfish with mole verde on a tostada
-Brown Butter Lobster Rolls
-American plaice with hominy, pork and peppers
-Miso Glazed Pollock with burnt onion dashi, kimchi, beech mushrooms, and sesame crunch
-Pollock with roasted peppers, onion, avocado, lemon, cilantro, and sweet potato
-Coquille St. BPI: Truffle Potato, Creamed Morels

Tickets are $55 in advance, and $65 at the door, unless they’re sold out! A portion of proceeds directly support GMRI’s sustainable seafood work.
