Jonathan Woolley, Director of the Quaker UN Office in Geneva, will speak about smallholder agriculture and climate change in developing countries on Monday, October 28th at the Rockland Public Library. His talk, “Smallholder Agriculture in Developing Countries: Feeding the World in the Face of Climate Change” takes place from 6:30-8PM and is free and open to all. This free community event is co-sponsored by the Peace Center of the Midcoast Meeting of Friends and hosted by the Rockland Public Library and offered in anticipation of the 27th Annual Camden Conference: The Global Politics of Food and Water, February 21-23, 2014.
