Come hear from award winning design and build team GO Logic on their latest development, the Belfast Cohousing and Ecovillage. Alan Gibson, co-founder and builder of GO Logic will discuss the project from site plan through construction. You will learn how the design of the development lead to energy reduction and building community, also learn what were some things that worked particularly well and what were some of the challenges faced on site.

GO Logic is an architecture and construction firm based in Belfast, Maine, specializing in the design and construction of well-crafted, sustainable buildings. Their objective is to improve the quality of the built environment while significantly lowering building energy consumption, thereby reducing the long-term environmental impact of development. An integrated approach is taken in the design which considers function, climate, building form, and materiality. Each projects brings a high level of craft and thoughtful attention to detail, combined with energy engineering expertise, to bring enduring, sustainable solutions to reality.

About Green Eggs and to Register
Green Eggs is the USGBC Maine Chapter’s monthly breakfast forum featuring a speaker and topic relevant to green buildings. Networking and breakfast, featuring a full breakfast – local, organic, creative – prepared by Local Sprouts Cooperative, will take place from 7:30 – 8:00 followed by a 45 minute presentation and a 15 minute question, answer & discussion period. Attendance is limited and pre-registration with payment is recommended. Attendance is $15 for members and $20 for non members.
