Introducing the 1st Annual Green & Healthy Maine Visitor’s Guide

Over the last several years, we’ve been asked countless times to publish a “SunriseGuide for Tourists.” And after six years of bringing you the best of what’s green, healthy, and local in Maine, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 1st Annual Green & Healthy Maine Visitor’s Guide!

Think about the last time you traveled or vacationed somewhere. Were you looking for places to source local and organic food? Or perhaps a place to keep up with your yoga practice? Maybe a “green” spa where you could pamper yourself without added chemicals? A restaurant that could cater to your dietary needs? Now, how easy were those businesses to find? Starting this summer, the many thousand people coming to Maine will have to look no further than our new publication to have those (and many more!) questions answered.

Green & Healthy Maine is part-magazine and part-visitor’s guide and will be released annually. With beautiful photography, exclusive offers from green and healthy businesses, and unique articles on topics like Gluten-Free Dining in Maine, Sustainable Seafood Initiatives, Baked Bean Suppers, and more, this publication is truly one-of-a-kind. In addition, readers will find extensive directories for four regions in Maine: York County, Greater Portland, Southern Midcoast, and The Midcoast. Within each regional directory, learn where you can take an exercise class, get a massage, find natural and local food, or go hiking or biking. You’ll also learn about community events throughout the summer and fall, and where to go on a rainy day.

This publication is geared towards tourists and visitors, but we guarantee locals and “staycationers” will find it invaluable too! Green & Healthy Maine has officially hit the shelves, so look for it at all the major visitor and transportation centers, and in select restaurants, retailers, and hotels. They’ll be in circulation through the end of October, but be sure to grab yours early so you can start maximizing your summer enjoyment today!

Wow! This is a little shocking. I made a comment asking for something like this during a solication for feedback about the Sunrise Guide. CRAZY that you actually ended up doing it. My comment may have had nothing to do with it, but I like to think that it was a small contribution on my part. Excellent! I’ll look for it.
