Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fairs (Feb 24-26)
11 Locations Statewide
Once again, Maine will host a series of events organized to help us meet the farmers and fisherman who bring us our food and learn about the Community Supported Agriculture model, or CSAs. Events take place statewide Feb 24-26.
The series is co-sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association (MOFGA) the Maine Council of Churches and Slow Food Portland with additional support from local organizations at each site.
Admission to this event is free for farms and the public. Farmers will bring products from the farm to sell in addition to their CSA shares. Light refreshments featuring local seasonal foods will be served.
For more information, contact MOFGA’s Organic Marketing Coordinator Melissa White Pillsbury, 207-568-4142, melissa@mofga.org
