Study Group: How to Transform Personal and Environmental Toxins
The Resilience Hub
Join Portland Permaculture for this six month study group. When practicing permaculture you have many tools to fertilize and nurture the seeds around you. You may work with bioremediation, resilience, and good stewardship to help nurture and protect the land, each other, and yourselves. But the scope of some of the things that are taking place in the world around you, to your food, and in your neighborhoods, can be very overwhelming. It can be hard to find hope. It can be hard to know what to “do.”
Using Sandra Ingerman’s book Medicine For The Earth: How to Transform Personal and Environmental Toxins as a tool, you will explore and practice techniques for transmuting the toxins within your body and in your world. Over the course of 6 evenings you will work through the sections of the book, providing opportunities to inspire and encourage each other along the way. Community is an important part of this work. The benefit provided by a circle of peers helps people to stay on track and show up to do the deep introspection required.
Every Third Thursday evening a month for 6 months: April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, August 21, September 18
Meeting will be run 2 1/2 hours each with a potluck prior. Learn more.
