Creating compost from household scraps and worms is so easy a child could do it. In fact, this class will show children ages 5- 85 how to start a worm bin, tend it, and thin out the castings, also known as “black gold” to organic gardeners.

This class is taught by LuAnn Cooley, an organic gardener for over 30 years and worm wrangler for 3. Participants will leave with a starter worm bin, bedding, worms, and easy-to-follow instructions for making compost, using the castings, and growing your “herd” of worms.
